Diálogos en torno a la gobernanza imperial y de los Andes en la época Habsburgo

Este ensayo crítico evalúa la historiografía de la gobernanza en los Andes en la época Habsburgo en diálogo con los estudios sobre el gobierno del imperio hispánico. Entre las convergencias conceptuales que identifica se encuentran la caracterización de la gobernanza del virreinato peruano como inserta en la monarquía compuesta, de Cortes o policéntrica, y mecanismos de dominación como la cultura barroca dirigida, el papeleo, el patronazgo, y la dupla saber-poder. En cambio, la originalidad conceptual de la historiografía andina sobre la gobernanza está asociada a una visión desde abajo.
