Abstract

This article discusses changes in the objectives and strategies of the World March of Women in Brazil, based on interviews to seven activists and the analysis of public documents of the Movement. It concludes that the World March of Women is still mobilized and active and that, despite a retreat in the dialogue with the State, there is an increasing in the use of repertoires of contestation against the authoritarianism and conservatism of the Bolsonaro´s government and in the defense of democracy.
