Resumen

This paper aims to investigate the way in which native cultures are represented in Mario Vargas Llosa’s literary works. Trough a survey of the most important texts of the author we will try to show how the idea of the incompatibility between modernity and indigenous cultures grows increasingly stronger and important within Vargas Llosa writings.
