The present article focuses on different practices related to the intimacy sphere among Cape Verdean immigrants and their descendants in Argentina. We analyse how these practices, which are usually relegated to domestic spaces, related to the hegemonic whiteness imaginary. We then examine how these practices, knowledge and representations began to get more complex and transformed due to different processes experienced by several generations born in the country
