The children’s novel La torre sin fin, by Silvina Ocampo, first published in Madrid in 1986 (Alfaguara) and then published posthumously in 2007 in Argentina (Sudamericana), is one of the stories of the author in which is more obvious than in any other the rewriting of the Carrollian topics and problems. This paper proposes to describe the way in which this short novel of Ocampo, which presents an explicit homage to Carroll’s Alices, constitutes a simplified and schematic version of Carrollian nonsense that turns to be a failed tribute.Downloads
