Aspects of community consolidation among the Diaguita Indigenous people of the Belén Department (Catamarca, Argentina) are explored when they focus on rituals and celebrations related to processes of community resistance and political autonomy, while the emergence of multinational extractive companies is taking place. Two celebrations are analyzed: the Qorpachada to Pachamama in Laguna Blanca and the Inti Raymi, held in different settings, as rituals of community intensification to assess the cosmopolitical impact of different human and non-human actors.
