This article considers the main reviews and criticisms that have been posed, mainly during the last two decades, to the attention of the experts in the field of teaching systems in the graduate schools of business administration. The main statement is that we can outline the features that will be relevant for a substantial part of the future ruling and business class in Latin America and its own historical, social and economic context. This is possible by taking into account and making a synthesis of the outstanding criticisms and debates posed by different schools of thought, paying special attention to the essential relation of the academic world with the business sector - that is to say with the “practice” of business administration that has been constantly stemming away from the corresponding theory and academic background. Keywords: Business administration, MBA system, teaching, theory, Latin America. Downloads
