The article recovers the testimonies of Bolivian Aymara women residing in Arica (Chile), on the languages spoken by them in their home communities, in the rural-urban mobilities in Bolivia, and after the transborder migration. Three objectives guide this work. First, to describe the changes in the idiomatic experiences between the country of origin and of destination. Second, to correlate these changes with the application of intercultural and/or indigenous recognition legal frameworks in Bolivia and Chile. Third, to analyze the female experience of linguistic practices.
