Abstract

Childhood, as a natural vehicle of regeneration, became central for the Latin-Americans and European authoritarian regimes between the world worlds. Educating, molding and indoctrinating children was aimed at consolidating and perpetuating stable political systems. This article aims to show how such determinations, shared by Varguism, Fascism and Nazim squeezed the Italian and German migrant childhood in Brazil between two nationalisms, those of their mother and hosting countries.
