The article studies a selection of texts published in the early years of the 21st century by the cuban writer Orlando Luis Pardo Lazo, one of the main exponents of the so-called Generation Zero. The essay examines the representation of the writer in those texts, and analyzes the policies of writing that these writers propose in order to solve two problems that affect his/her literary production conditions: the institutionalization of language and the monumentalization of archive by the state and its cultural authorities. The article seeks to understand how the new generations of writers are considering the relationship between literature and politics in Cuba.Downloads
