The Historical Archive of La Merced (Santiago de Chile) holds some manuscripts works which are very interesting for the historical study of the philosophical discipline. For these courses are the primary sources of the philosophical teaching of the colonial times. This article reviews both the material characteristics of their formats and supports and the table of general contents of the manuscripts. Most of them study the Aristotelian physics and date from the 18th century. On the one hand, we hope to provide unpublished material that allows new historical-philosophical investigations and, on the other, to make visible the rich documentary heritage of the Historical Archive of La Merced.
