Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

Author Guidelines

The journal accepts articles in Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and English.

Manuscripts must be submitted in Word through the OJS platform, filling in all the required fields.

Authors must send two files: a) anonymous article b) affiliation and biographical note.

Articles must contain a maximum of 60,000 characters (including spaces), including notes and bibliographic references.

Manuscripts must satisfy the criteria exposed in the following Guidelines:

DOSSIER

The section DOSSIER deals with themes contextualised within the current academic debate and is composed of essays that focus on specific relevant subjects. The Journal welcomes proposals for Dossier from external editors: such submissions will be examined by the Editorial Committee. Dossier’s editors must assume full responsibility for the section, including taking care of peer-reviewing and copyediting. Every step must be taken within the OJS web platform. Every article must undergo double-blind peer review. 

ESSAYS

The section ESSAYS welcomes, with an interdisciplinary scope, contributions encased in a broader scientific debate, dealing with the core issues of the cultural space privileged by the Journal. The Editorial Committee is in charge of preliminarily evaluating the submitted articles, explicitly concerning their relevance to the Journal’s scientific project. The articles that pass this preliminary evaluation will be sent for double-blind peer review. 

WINDOWS

The section WINDOWS is dedicated to book reviews, updates about conferences and seminars and news concerning the current theoretical and methodological panorama. The Editorial Committee is in charge of this section.

PANORAMI

The section PANORAMI is intended as a space of reflection, rethinking, discussion and assessment of specific themes. It gathers contributions that would critically highlight the central nodes of the current research concerning the Journal fields of interest and stimulate or address social and political debates of the Journal concern. Panorami is under the responsibility of the Editorial Committee, which can rely on external contributors. The papers of this section undergo peer-review according to more flexible arrangements suited to their specificities.
